out of boredom, awaiting people for a meeting at a restaurant, I asked few of my friends and people to send me a selfie or a picture [few were flicked from their phone profile displays], so I could create a doodle and try illustrating on a medium [tissue paper] I never tried before. - tissueselfieproject

The Safety Pin Dress with Esther Jamir

An experimental art-to-wear tasseled dress draped with three grades of steel safety pins. 1 3/4”, 1 1/2”, 2” (in inches); entirely of safety pins and a zipper at the back. The images were shot for a virtual installation in November 2012.
